To My Beloved Mum on Mother’s Day
Today marks the first Mother’s Day without your physical presence beside me since you left us on 18 January 2026. The silence feels different, the day feels heavier, and the heart quietly searches for the warmth, love, and comforting presence that only a mother can give.
Yet, deep within my soul, I know you have never truly left me. I believe with all my heart that you continue to stand beside me in spirit and soul — watching over me, guiding me, blessing me, and giving me strength in moments when I need it most. Though my eyes can no longer see you, my heart feels your presence every single day.
Mum, your love was pure, selfless, and unconditional. Your sacrifices, care, prayers, wisdom, and unwavering support shaped my life in countless ways. Every value I hold dearly, every strength I carry within me, and every good deed I strive to do carries a reflection of your teachings and your love.
I miss you deeply — your voice, your smile, your gentle concern, your laughter, and the way you made even the hardest days feel bearable.
There are moments when the longing becomes overwhelming, but I find comfort in believing that your soul now rests in eternal peace and divine grace.

Not a single day goes by without me thinking of you both. Every year on Mother’s Day, I would send your favourite flowers, and somehow it always made me feel close to you. This is the first year I didn’t send them, and that made me incredibly sad.
But deep in my heart, I know you both are no longer in pain, and that brings me comfort. I smile knowing you are with Appa n Pappa, celebrating together in heaven, watching over us with love just as you always did.
Both Your love, kindness, strength, and the sacrifices you both made for our family continue to guide me every day. No flowers could ever truly express how much I miss you both and how grateful I am to have been loved by you both.
